Nicholas Tan

Nicholas has over a decade of experience in education, complemented by a diverse background from other sectors with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honors) from University Tunku Abdul Rahman. He has established a profound understanding of the vital role that effective parent-teacher collaboration plays in a student's educational journey. Currently serving as the Vice Principal and Head of Mathematics, Nicholas has been a dedicated member of the Prime International Secondary School faculty since 2016. His expertise extends to teaching Mathematics and Additional Mathematics, where he consistently demonstrates a passion for fostering student success.

Peramathevan A/L Ravendran

Ray has been with Prime International since 2020 as a teacher of science, after which he was promoted to Head of the Science Department and Vice Head of Academics. With a background in Biomedical Science and 5 years of teaching experience, he can inspire young students to explore the world of science with high levels of curiosity. With the creativity of other dedicated staff at Prime International, he is passionate about providing students with a sound foundation for lifelong learning.

Charine cham

Charine worked in the line of education for approximately 9 years along with experiences in other fields such as medical health care, legal, and performing arts. With a BSc. (Hons) Biomedical Science (UTAR) and an LL.B from the University of London, Charine is eager to share her knowledge and passion with the younger generation. Charine is currently teaching Drama, YDP classes and science subjects.

Shirnie Chan

Shirnie Chan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from University of London. She has previously taught ICT and Computer Science in UK. At Prime International Secondary School, she teaches Science across a wide selection of Secondary Key Stages. In the classroom she always strives to create a positive, engaging, and fair working environment, enabling her students to build within themselves a good working ethos.

ANITHA VARRUTHINEE SUPPIAH

PREMDEEP KAUR

Anitha, is a dedicated and passionate educator with a diverse teaching portfolio as an English Educator for third, fourth and sixth grade students. Her academic journey showcases her commitment to excellence. She obtained her International Certificate and International Diploma from the Institute of Administrative Management (IAM, UK) at Stamford College, Kuala Lumpur. While briefly exploring the banking industry as an Officer in the Loans Department at Alliance Bank Berhad, she realized her true calling for the teaching profession as her innate talent for working with children was evident. In 2009, she pursued her bachelor’s degree in TESL the at Open University Malaysia (OUM) to enhance her career as an educator. Her genuine dedication and natural affinity for children makes her an exceptional educator, creating a positive and engaging learning environment for her students.

Premdeep Kaur has more than 20 years of experience as an Educator in different private schools. She earned her NCC UK Higher Diploma in Computer Studies. She also has a Diploma in Secretarial Studies from Singapore. She is fully trained in the Montessori Pedagogy and completed the Cambridge International Diploma in Teachers’ Training program (CIDTT) in 2012. She has a special interest in the Performing Arts, especially in drama and her leisure time is spent reading. At Prime International Secondary School, she teaches Accounting and is Head of the Commerce and Humanities Department.

Syasya hanun

Syasya Hanun has been teaching primary students in both government and international schools for many years. She majored in English and graduated from Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech Mara Kuala Lumpur (KUPTM KL) in 2017 with a Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Applied English Language Studies. At the age of 26, she graduated from University Teknologi Mara (UITM) with a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language in 2022. Her passion has always been teaching.  She adores children and enjoys teaching. She is very positive and encouraging, and she believes that reinforcing positive behaviour is more important than punishing negative behaviour.  She is currently the homeroom teacher for year 5P.

Tina Veronica Rama Rao serves as a Science Educator and heads discipline among young students. She excelled in her studies and was awarded a First-Class Degree in Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) from MSU. Eager to further enhance her teaching skills, she pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT) at OUM, where she also graduated with First Class honors. Tina's professional journey began with valuable experience gained during her six-month internship at a private hospital laboratory. Her passion for education led her to start her career as an Education Consultant, and in 2020, she took on the role of Science Educator at Prime International. Tina's expertise in science education and her dedication to maintaining discipline makes her an invaluable asset to the school, ensuring that students receive a well-rounded education in a structured and nurturing environment.

Wong Chien Wen

Wong Chien Wen graduated with Bachelor of Art (Hons) English Education from University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Kampar. She has been teaching various Lower and Upper Primary subjects, and Lower Secondary English; while running as Head of Primary. She believes and is dedicated in developing students' academic, softskills and social growth, as well as lifelong learning. Chien Wen is currently the homeroom teacher for Year 3 and teaching Humanities and Science from Year 2 to Pre-Year 7. 

Patricia george

Patricia George holds a bachelor’s in education (Hons) TESL and has had a great teaching career since 2015. Before joining Prime International Secondary School, she was an educator at a prestigious private school. Currently, she teaches secondary English and Math at Prime International Secondary School. She also plays a key role as an assistant discipline teacher. She has a passion for working with young learners. Helping each child progress in all areas of their development, academic, social, language, and motor skills is a challenge that she is honoured to cope with daily.

CIVITHRA

Civithra is a highly experienced and dedicated educator for Mathematics at Key Stage 2. Civithra brings with her a rich cultural background and a deep understanding of her students' needs. With a Major in Accounting from Sunway University and a bachelor’s degree in Education (TESL) with honors from OUM, she possesses a unique blend of subject expertise and pedagogical knowledge. Civithra's commitment to professional growth is evident through her completion of the prestigious Child Protection for International Schools course in partnership with Council of British International Schools (COBIS). With a decade of experience in the education field, Civithra's exceptional leadership skills and passion for teaching makes her an invaluable asset to the school community, where she fosters a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence among students.

KY Chew is in his 2nd year teaching High School Physics and Mathematics of the CAIE and IGCSE syllabus. He grew up in Shah Alam, Selangor and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Major Physics degree with CGPA 3.966 from Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2018. KY Chew was a Part-time assistant Taekwondo Coach for five years after graduating from high school from January 2012 to June 2017 coaching students from 5 to 17 years of age. He was an intern Research Assistant at the Malaysian Nuclear Agency from June 2017 to August 2017 to help in a project named “ZnO Nanofiber for Piezoelectric Effect.”

Hendry Rao is an esteemed and experienced educationist with a passion for teaching Biology and Chemistry. With 15 years of teaching experience, he holds a bachelor’s in biomedical science (Hons.) from Management & Science University. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Education Management from OUM, to enhance his expertise in educational leadership. Hendry caters to the academic needs of KS3 and KS4 students. His student-centric teaching philosophy fosters critical thinking, collaboration, and inclusivity, creating intellectually stimulating environments that nurture a deep understanding and curiosity for the natural sciences. His commitment to continuous professional development is reflected in his active participation in conferences and workshops with which he integrates innovative teaching strategies and cutting-edge educational technologies into his lessons, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching learning experience for students.

Navin has a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Malaya. He was also one of the top STPM students in Johor, and he represented the state in Pentanque and Tug of war. He was the President of the History Club at university, and represented the university for Tug of War, Pentanque, and Kabbadi. He completed his internship at the Selangor Museum and was an archaeologist for 6 months before teaching History and Malay for over 6 years. Currently, he is teaching Global Perspectives and Malay to students of Year 7 to Year 10 at Prime International.

Kervin Rees

Steve sung

Kervin Rees holds a honor’s bachelor’s degree in psychology and did his internship in an autism clinic for 6 months, during which he volunteered and assisted with many orphanages and charities such as Rumah HELP. As an intern, he assisted in the education of children from low-income families and orphanages. He also participated in the Johor National Student Conference for Public Speaking. He represented his high school in football at MSSD Level, and at the age of 16, he participated in a month-long student exchange program at Trinity College.

Steve Sung has more than 20 years of teaching experience from secondary to tertiary level, teaching Cambridge IGCSE History and Business Studies as well as Geography for key stage 3 since 2011. He has a Master of Human Resource Management from the University of Canberra and a Diploma in Criminal Law from the University of Wolverhampton. In the field of training, he conducted English programs for the IPD Sepang Police in conjunction with the NIE- New Straits Times and Executive Development programs for the unemployed graduate scheme under HRDF.

Chin han cheng

Chin Han Cheng teaches Mandarin at Prime International School. He graduated from the Wenzao Ursuline of Language Taiwan with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Chinese. Since 2018, he has been teaching Mandarin as a second and foreign language to a wide range of private and institutional students in Taiwan and Malaysia. He is fascinated by people, how they interact with one another, and how they use language.  He enjoys working with his students and is always pleased when they achieve good exam results and learn from their mistakes. At Prime International School, he believes every student can reach their fullest potential.

Baanupriya a/p Murugiah

Baanupriya has worked in education for almost 2 years. She completed her Bachelor of Education (TESL) from the City University and is currently doing her Master of Education (TESL) at Unitar. Priya started her career as a preschool teacher and continued her journey as an English teacher at primary and secondary level and is passionate at showing how English can be fun and easy to learn. Currently she teaches English and the Youth Development Program at Prime International Secondary School.

DARSHINI

Darshini pursued a Diploma in Early Childhood Education to facilitate her desire to nurture children the right way. She went on to complete the bachelor’s degree in Education to enhance her career and passion for teaching. Her philosophy is to ‘educate the hearts before the brains ‘by teaching students the art of love to facilitate the learning process. As a student-oriented teacher, her priority is to understand the unique needs and interests of every student to tailor make her teaching style for interesting and interactive lessons. Every lesson is engaging and designed with language-related activities for creativity. Leadership qualities are also instilled, providing opportunities for students to take initiative, collaborate, and make decisions, both inside and outside the classroom with no limits to reaching their potential.

Lee Huoi see

Lee Huoi See is an experienced Mandarin teacher.  She graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Social Science in 2003. With her passion in teaching over the past 10 years, she has worked with students of all ages, from Grade 1 up to Grade 11 with an interactive and engaging style to enhance the learning process among students. Lessons are tailor made for each student’s needs, so that they can learn at their own pace and develop their skills as quickly as possible.

Rishi Kumar a/l Annbalagan

Rishi holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Malaya. Currently he is in the 1st semester of his master’s in criminal justice at the University of Malaya which will be completed by 2024. He has 7 years’ experience teaching business and economics to STPM students. He is well accomplished both academically and athletically as he holds the top student record at STPM with a CGPA of 3.92 and has excelled in sports at university level in futsal, kayak, and kabaddi.

Ivan Kua

Ivan Kua was awarded an honors Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree from the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka in 2021 and has 1 year teaching experience at primary school level. Currently, he is teaching Math to Secondary students and teaches dance for Cocurricular Activities at Prime International Secondary School. He choregraphed the first flash mob dance for a Public Speaking event at the IOI mall organized by Prime International in 2022. He has a passion for math and science and has participated in several related competitions and workshops.

Suveen Kaur teaches English as a Second language to students of secondary level at Prime International Secondary School. She is an English Language graduate from UNIRAZAK and holds 10 years of experience in the education field. Her passion is in teaching and to give her best to students.

Chan Pang Chin had won the prestigious Asean Scholarship to pursue his A Levels at the renowned National Junior College of Singapore. His years of learning and teaching, and his research experience gained during his Master of Education, enables him to develop his own unique and effective teaching methods for both mathematics and physics. Mr Chan has held various positions including Head of Physics and Head of A Levels with various institutions of private education. Having marked examination questions with a major overseas examination board, Mr Chan has the knack for spotting questions for major examinations.
